There are literally thousands of colors of Stone on the market today. Although all are beautiful, many are not practical for Kitchen applications due to their absorption or hardness.

We will ask you to narrow your choices to 2-3 basic colors (ex: brown, gold) and start from there. Granite is the most practical for use in a Kitchen due to its resistance to abrasion and heat. Marble is more suited to a non-acidic environment like bath Vanities, Tub Decks, etc. Slates, Limestones, Soapstones and Bluestones are just as beautiful but may require more maintenance to preserve their beauty.
